How to install (set) social engineering in Nethunter Kali

Before we go into how to install setoolkit in our powerful nethunter, we are going to learn what is setoolkits and what we can actually use it to do.

What is setoolkits ?

SET or social engineering tool kits is an open platform for all kinds of social attacks. Set is meant to be used legally. It is against the law to misuse set.

Step required to install set

Run sudo apt-get update to update your machine
lets clone the repo by running git clone https://github.com/trustedsec/social-engineer-toolkit.git
After clone please use the cd command to enter the folder cd setoolkit
Run this command pip3 install -r requirements.txt
set up files by running python3 setup.py
Finally update by running sudo apt update
you are done, you can now start set by running sudo setoolkits.

Lets follow the method above to install sets

1.First of all let us update our machine by running this command

sudo apt-get update

2. After you have updated your machine you , have to go for the second command , this command will help you to clone setoolkits.

git clone https://github.com/trustedsec/social-engineer-toolkit.git

Now monitor the clone and make sure it is complete then move on to step 3, we are progressing.

3.Now do a cd to change into setoolkit folder you have earlier cloned.

 cd setoolkit

4.Now that we have successfully changed directory let’s install some requirements by running this code below.

pip3 install -r requirements.txt

This code will help us to install all the requirements for updates and installation of set.

5.We are almost done . Now let us install the setup files by running the last command.

python3 setup.py

After running this command,wait for it you might see errors but don’t worry your set has been installed

How to install setoolkit in nethunter To verify if set is installed run

sudo su
setoolkit

remember that your password in nethunter is kali unless you have changed it your self.

when you run sudo su , your Kali will prompt for root password, then enter Kali then enter setoolkit then your set will open like my own below.

Alternative method of installing setoolkit.

This method is effortlessly and straight forward no need to worry your self, just type in the command and all the installation will just takes place for you.

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install set

You may not need the first command because we already had that before so , we only need the apt get install set.

so after running this command, we are installing direct from trustedsec.com.
